Or if you are too scared to cut it off yourself just use a mix of baking soda and castor oil in a thick paste applied several times a day and it will drop off within about 2 weeks.
Yeah its more time and hassle but it works and does not require a knife or a dr visit.

@maddykimberlyk Did it get infected or anything bad happed to it? I also have a skin tag that turned black, since I keep pulling at it and I need to have it removed ASAP.

I had one under my armpit. I just tied a tight knot around the base and after a couple days it turns completely black and i could notice it getting loose and i felt no pain so i just pinched it off.

I had skin tags removed today by cutting method without novacane and it did hurt. Next time I’m going with novacane method, albeit the rise of cost.

@AmericanPowerBase Obviously you are not aware of what a tumor is. A tumor is the abnormal growth of cells anywhere on the body. A skin tag is the abnormal growth of skin cells. Tumors can be either malignant or benign. A skin tag is therefore the benign growth of skin cells.

@ohsnapitbejenna LOL… I know what you mean… I had 4 on my neck area and tied them for a week and it only seemed to make them swell and hurt…. I convinced the Mrs to take to the little bastards with some sterilized scissors……. GONE!! Make sure your scissors are sharp bud.

  23. theknightlynews says:

She misspoke. Skin tags are not skin. They are benign tumors ON the skin.
